As an Assistant Teacher, you will assist with the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum, prepare and organize learning materials, and supervise children during all activities, including meals and naptime, to ensure a safe and positive learning environment. Some of our best educators have come from other fields, including customer service, healthcare, retail, and more If you have the following, we would love to speak with you: Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center Prior experience with toddler and pre-school students Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet 12 Child Development Units-Required by the State of California-3 units must be in Infant and Toddler coursework. Strong collaboration and communication skills are required. Patience, a nurturing attitude, and a sincere interest in the well-being and development of young learners are essential to this position.
