year prior to starting this full-time internship in summer 2025 to
join our ES Quality team here at BAE Systems, Inc. In this exciting
role, you will work side-by-side with experienced engineers and
senior engineering staff.Intern Responsibilities:
Update/Create automated problem
solutionsCreate data flows for existing processesApply lean
strategies to existing processesUnderstand Quality standards and
procedures. Participate and interact with other interns in sector
wide activities. Develop understanding of BAE Systems Quality
Management System. Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations
and Engineering. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Pursuing
a Bachelor's Degree and on course to graduate in 2025 or 2026 in a
technical field including (but not limited to):
Industrial EngineeringHardware -
Mechanical, ElectricalSystems EngineeringSoftware - Computer
Science Computer EngineeringEngineering ManagementMathematics
Physics EconomicsInformation Systems Quality ManagementPreferred
Education, Experience, & Skills
Outstanding communication skills
Demonstrated teamwork and leadership experience Capacity and
motivation for hard work Experience in defense electronics
industryFamiliarity with Lean and Six Sigma practicesKnowledge of
Quality Management SystemsExperience with Agile Development
Exposure to ISO 9001, CMMI, or AS9100Relevant quality

Defense Security ClearancePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range:
$48620 - $67640Please note: This range is based on our market pay
structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a
variety of factors including, but not limited to: business
considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as
well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and
experience.Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE
Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k)
savings plan. Temporary employees working 20+ hours per week are
eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and
