  Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a--Travel RN ---Pediatric Critical Care Float PoolShift: Variable or straight Nights / 12x3, 36 hrs per weekLength: 13 weeks(4-5 weekend shifts sat-sun on day shift and then 5-6 shifts of fri-sat nights - traveler gets off one full weekend every 4 week schedule)Must work 2 out of the 3 holidaysRequirements:
  • CA license
  • 2 full recent years of Pediatric ICU experience (PICU, CTICU, CRITICAL CARE FLOAT POOL)
  • Pediatric ICU experience
  • Experience: Ventilators, trachs, multiple monitoring skills, specifically CVP and EKG
  • BLS
  • PALSOthers:
    • Patient Population: High acuity unit seeing injury, respiratory failure, shock, multi system failure, poisonings, near drowning, meningitis, post op cardiac surgical care, **neurosurgery. Trauma, hem onc, DKA if PH or altered consciousness
    • For travelers with PICU experience - 15 bed minimum and higher acuity of care across ALL PICU/ICU areas
    • Traveler must be willing to get flu shot when requested
    • Will care for all age ranges and levels of acuity
    • This is a Critical Care Float Pool position
    • First to float to other units outside of the critical care units, including ED
