  • Job Details
  • This is a critical care float pool position - pediatric ICU experience required.
  • Traveler must be willing to get flu shot when requested.
  • Will care for all age ranges and levels of acuity.
  • Patient population includes high acuity unit seeing injury, respiratory failure, shock, multisystem failure, poisonings, near drowning, meningitis, post op cardiac surgical care, neurosurgery, trauma, hem onc, DKA if PH or altered consciousness.
    • Job Requirements
    • CA License
    • First to float to other units outside of the critical care units, including ED
    • BLS
    • PALS
    • 2 full recent years of Pediatric ICU experience (PICU, CTICU, CRITICAL CARE FLOAT POOL)
    • Experience with ventilators, trachs, multiple monitoring skills, specifically CVP and EKG.
      • Schedule Information
      • 3x12 variable or straight night shifts
      • 4-5 weekend shifts sat-sun on day shift and then 5-6 shifts of fri-sat nights - traveler gets off one full weekend every 4 week schedule
      • 13 week contracts
      • Max 6 days off allowed (Must still get 3 shifts in per week)
      • Must work 2 out of the 3 holidays

        • Valid photo ID is required. Must have front and back copies. Traveler must present on their first day.
