• Employment Type: Travel--- 8 WEEKS ONLY--- 48 HOURS ONLY--- VARIABLE OR STRAIGHT NIGHTS--- NO HOLIDAY RTO--- 3 days max RTO DON'T SUBMIT IF TRAVELER DOES NOT HAVE PEDS EXPERIENCE. Okay to submit if not within a dedicated Childrens facility.Required:--- CA License--- 2+ years of CVPICU/CTICU experience leading up to assignment--- PEDS Cardiac experience - MUST be cardiac trained--- Heart transplant experience--- Willing to float between units--- BLS--- PALS--- Experience in: Ventilators, multiple monitors, and EKG interpretation--- Flu shotFloating is infrequent but could happen based on clinicians acuity level to the following units: PICU, NICU, medical, surgical, hem/onc, medical behavioral unit. They have, on rare occasion, floated to Bernardy Center.--- Weekend Requirements: 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule. For night shift it is any combination of Fri/Sat nights and for day shift it is Sat/Sun.Requested Time Off: 3 days total (must still get 3 shifts in week) )*Self scheduling!Ratio:1:1-2Unit Summary: 30-37 beds. Seeing post op cardiac surgical care, cardiology patients, complex congenital patients, acquired heart disease patients, heart transplantation, VAD's and ECMO.
