  • Travel/Contract Registered Nurse position at Rady Childrens Hospital - San Diego
  • Responsible for CVPICU/CTICU with PEDS Cardiac experience - must be cardiac trained
  • Experience with heart transplant patients
  • Functions at the Standard Level of nursing practice
  • Patients can range from neonatal up to 23 years old
  • Responsible for post op cardiac surgical care, cardiology patients, complex congenital patients, acquired heart disease patients, and heart transplantation
  • Experience with VAD's and ECMO
    • Job Requirements
    • CA License
    • 2+ years of CVPICU/CTICU experience
    • PEDS Cardiac experience
    • Heart transplant experience
    • Willingness to float between units
    • Experience in Ventilators, multiple monitors, and EKG interpretation
    • Flu shot required
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts variable or straight night shifts, 36x48 available
      • Weekend Requirements: 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
      • 13-week contracts
      • No holiday RTO allowed
      • Self-scheduling
      • Ratio: 1:1-2
        • Unit Specific Information
        • CPICU Unit Video available for overview
        • Unit Details: Seeing patients with cardiac surgical care, cardiology, complex congenital issues
          • Additional Details
          • Valid photo ID is required
          • Traveler must present identification on their first day
          • Orientation Information sent out before start date
