qualified NICU RN in La Jolla, California, 92037 About The Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care
Unit (NICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 -
07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 3
years in Level 3 NICU or higher License: California RN license (in
hand or pending with ETA) Certifications: BLS (AHA), NRP (AHA)
Must-Have: - Epic experience - Travel experience Job Description: -
Provide skilled nursing care in the NICU with proficiency in using
incubators, warmers, and Philips monitors. - Offer respiratory
support, excluding chronic ventilators. - Comply with mandatory flu
vaccination during fall/winter seasons. - Adapt to floating within
the hospital and to satellite locations, with notice given prior to
shifts. - Comply with a maximum of 6 days of requested time off. -
Work 2 out of 3 major holidays. - Complete mandatory non-billable
modules, which may take 6-8 hours before starting, outside of
allocated orientation hours. - Understand that orientation involves
12 hours, but modules are also required pre-start. - Mileage
reimbursement is provided for travel to satellite locations other
than the home base facility. - Ensure accurate personal information
