  • Hospital in Southern Arizona is looking for RNs to complete a 13 week assignment on their Med Surg Tower 5 unit.
  • The right candidates will have 3+ years of experience and have an active BLS.

    • 3+ years of experience
    • Active BLS certification
    • Active Arizona or Compact license
    • EPIC experience required
    • Must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, and trauma level for each hospital in resume

      • Schedule Information
      • Start dates are not flexible.
      • Shifts: 6:45-7:15am/pm
      • Weekend Requirement: Every other
      • Holiday Requirement: Typically 2/3 holidays
      • Low Census On Call

        • Department: Med Surg - Tele - Stroke
        • Radius Rule: 100 miles
          • Additional Details
          • NURSE PATIENT RATIOS: DAYS - 1:5-6 NIGHTS - 1:6
          • # of Beds: 36
          • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Neuro, Stroke, General Med/Surg Overflow
          • Common titratable &/or set rate drips: May see heparin on occasion
          • Charge Nurse on each shift: Charge- sometimes free but can take assignment if needed
          • PCA: 8-12 per person
          • Tele on this unit, Travelers don't need to read tele, there is a dedicated monitor tech
          • Floating Requirements: MedSurg or ICU with appropriate patient assignment-downgraded, or RDU
          • Scrub Color: Navy Blue
          • How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: One NEO, one clinical ed/EPIC, one day floor.
