  • Hospital in Southern Arizona is looking for RNs to complete a 13 week assignment on their Med Surg Tower 4 unit.
  • The right candidates will have 3+ years of experience and have an active BLS.
    • Job Requirements
    • 3+ years of experience required.
    • Active AZ state license or Compact license required.
    • EPIC experience required.
    • Required certifications: BLS. Preferred: ACLS.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift: 6:45 - 7:15 am/pm.
      • Weekend Requirement: Every other.
      • Holiday Requirement: Typically 2/3 holidays.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Department: MedSurg - Tele - Ortho.
        • Common titratable &/or set rate drips: May see heparin on occasion.
        • Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit: PCA. 1:8-12.
        • RT Equipment: Bipap stable trachs, no changes to settings. Post surgical trachs- must be able to suction, trach care. Drains-JP, wound vacs-have wound care RN, ostomies.
        • Are there tele/monitor techs on this unit: Tele on this unit, dedicated monitor tech will assist with reading tele but RN will need to ID significant anomalies and alert care team as necessary.
          • Additional Details
          • NURSE PATIENT RATIOS: DAYS - 1:5-6 NIGHTS - 1:6.
          • # of Beds: 36.
          • Shifts & Scheduling: 6:45 - 7:15 am/pm.
          • Floating Requirements: Med Surg and ICU for stable patients.
