Location: San Diego, CA (1-day remote, 4-days onsite Hybrid Schedule)

Note: This is a W2 contract role, and it is NOT open to C2C or 3rd party candidates

The Software Engineer will develop, enhance, and sustain software systems within a cross-functional team environment, adhering to established design control processes and good engineering practices. Ideal candidates for this role will be able to demonstrate working knowledge of software engineering practices, techniques, and processes, along with basic knowledge of technology trends and domain expertise. They must be able to understand and analyze requirements for individual components, translating analysis results into design solutions to address specific requirements. The Software Engineer will be expected to develop modules with moderate guidance, applying knowledge and skills to a variety of standard activities.

Position Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in software development, with a demonstrated understanding of embedded, real-time, multi-threaded software design and development
Proficiency in C/C#/C++ programming
An understanding of development in process-oriented/regulated environments, including maintaining adherence to quality management systems
Excellent written and oral interpersonal communication skills
Experience with QNX OS preferred
Experience in computer networking preferred
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related field required
