OverviewAre you an organized and customer-oriented professional
with a passion for delivering outstanding service? We are looking
for a dedicated Service Coordinator to join our team and ensure the
smooth operation of our branch services. Working for Stryten
Energy, a Service Coordinator's primary day-to-day responsibilities
will include assisting management with all aspects of the service
branch's operation including interactions with customers,
technicians, and the management team. In the absence of the Service
Territory Manager, the coordinator is fully accountable for branch
operations.This position is office based in Corona, CA, and
requires you to work onsite. The hours are Monday - Friday. Base
rate offers for this position may vary based on factors such as
location, skills, and relevant experience. The hourly rate for this
role is: $24.04 - $26.25. In addition, this position offers
medical, dental and vision benefits.ResponsibilitiesMain
Responsibilities: Customer Contact, Service Requests, Scheduling
and Dispatching:
- Handle all service requests and customer contact in a timely
and professional manner.
- Create, schedule, and update service calls for technicians as
necessary.
- Keep customers informed of service dates and update customer's
systems as needed.
- Follow up with Service Technicians and customers to ensure
satisfaction and completion of Service Calls.
- Process, review, and update the service call from creation
through invoicing.
- Over-communicate with all things Branch related to the
Territory Service Manager.Additional Responsibilities:
- Safety: Engaged with daily safety practices for Stryten techs
and facilities.
- Drive warranty claims and work with Warranty Admin for
approvals.
- Handle customer issues and ensure timely and effective
resolutions.
- Escalate issues as needed to the appropriate manager(s).
- Liaison with the Stryten Sales team and other Stryten
departments, cross-functional service point of contact for all
internal departments and customers.
- Cross-train with other team members for potential backup.
- Participate in training courses and meetings as needed.
- Provide additional customer service and clerical support as
required.
- Logistics support: Place repair parts orders for the local
branch stocking model, create quotes, create Bill of Ladings,
utilize company portal to arrange common carriers, manage
branch-to-branch transfers of repair parts, and deliver repair
parts to techs as needed.
- Inventory Control: Issuing the parts to the tech, ensuring
parts are invoiced correctly on service work orders, conducting
monthly cycle counts including authorized adjustments to inventory,
and participating in yearly physical inventory (critical
function).
- Issue purchase orders to outside vendors.
- Rental Program: Manage the entire workflow of rental batteries,
deploying rentals, tracking rentals, and receiving rentals, all
while accurately invoicing the customer.
- Manage workflow with technicians assigned to the branch to
ensure service levels are met.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the branch on behalf of the
Territory Service Manager when needed.
- Receive and track assigned work orders from the Stryten
National Call Center and manage the service request to complete
closure.
- Service assessment: Use technical battery and charger
experience/knowledge to help customers troubleshoot potential
issues, and to support techs in the field during repairs.
- Schedule and coordinate scrap battery retrievals.
- Complete billing reports for customers as needed.
- Must be able to travel for two-week training.
- Other duties as assigned Qualifications
- A self-starter with exceptional time management and
communication skills, capable of working well under pressure.
- Team player in a fast-paced environment.
- Have strong knowledge of MS Office Software.
- Experience in JD Edwards is a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
- Possess excellent organizational skills with strong attention
to detail.
- Be able to work independently and capable of multi-tasking and
prioritizing job functions.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is not necessary but would be an
asset.
- Technical knowledge of industrial batteries & chargers a
plus.Required Experience:
- College or University Graduate preferred.
- Must have at least 2 years' experience in similar or related
